Welcome

Our Mission

Taekwondo for the ONE LLC exists to provide affordable, professional martial arts instruction in a Christion environment. Simply put, we are not just Christians teaching a martial arts class; we are martial artists using those talents to teach about Christ.

The martial arts have a long history of blending spiritual practices with the physical and mental training in the school. Taekwondo is no different, and the oldest school in Korea traces its lineage to a group class taught first in a church in Seoul. The Chung Do Kwan (literally, the "School of the Blue Wave") has long been known for teaching students the tremendous power that can be generated through simple application of precise techniques.

At Taekwondo for the ONE, we strive to train the whole person: Mind, Body and Spirit. To that end, in addition to the physical requirements for each rank, we also require students to memorize Scripture verses. Not only does this practice create the opportunity for mental growth in the testing process, but it gives our students the chance to explore some of the principles of Christianity.

Join us on this journey to empowerment through the art of Taekwondo.

The Luckett Team

Master Tony Luckett (7th Degree Black Belt) began training in 1996, and began teaching in 1998. He obtained the rank of 1st Dan Black Belt in 1999 and has opened schools in Indiana, Virginia, and now Florida. He has helped promote hundreds of students through the Black Belt and Master ranks in his career.

Chief Instructor Kristine Luckett (3rd Degree Black Belt) started as Master Luckett's office assistant while they were in college, and began her own training in 1999. She became Master Luckett's first student to obtain a 1st Dan Black Belt in 2004. As a former preschool teacher, she brings a wealth of knowledge and personality to the Tony's Tigers program.

Chief Instructor Kamryn Luckett (3rd Degree Black Belt) is the eldest daughter of Master & Mrs. Luckett. She has been in classes since before her birth, officially putting on her own white belt in 2009. She earned her 1st Degree Black Belt in 2016, testing alongside Master Luckett.

Together, the Luckett Team is passionate about helping students reach their martial arts goals. More importantly, we are passionate about helping students meet and learn more about Jesus

Etiquette

In our school, we emphasize the importance of etiquette in training. Students are expected to show respect to their instructors and fellow students at all times. Bowing to the dojang (training hall) upon entering and exiting, as well as before and after sparring, is a vital ritual that promotes respect and discipline. In martial arts, the bow is no different than a military salute or handshake between friends.

Additionally, students should arrive on time, wear appropriate uniforms, and maintain a respectful attitude throughout the lessons.
